Gabriela Vainsencher is an Argentinean-born Israeli artist living and working in Brooklyn. Her work have been shown in the US and abroad, including solo and two-person exhibitions at the Musee d’Art Moderne, Le Havre, France, Leif Magne Tanagens gallery in Skien, Norway, Recession Art gallery in New York, NY, Hanina gallery in Tel Aviv, and La Chambre Blanche, Quebec City.

Selected group shows include The Freies Museum, Berlin, The National Gallery of Saskatchewan, Canada, Pierogi gallery, Dumbo Arts Festival, and Parker’s Box galleries in New York. Gabriela has participated in artists residencies including Yaddo, The Atlantic Center for the Arts, Triangle Arts Association (all US), La Chambre Blanche (Canada) and a 3-month residency in Le Havre, France, sponsored by Triangle Arts Association and The French Institute.

Vainsencher is the founder of the Morning Drawing Residency, writes about art for Hyperallergic, Title MagazineTohu magazine, and The Huffington Post and occasionally teaches art at Williams College, in Williamstown, MA.
