Ezekiel saw the wheel
Way up in the middle of the air
Ezekiel saw the wheel
Way up in the middle of the air
And the little wheel runs by faith
And the big wheel runs by the grace of God
A wheel in a wheel a whirlin
Way up in the middle of the air

-Ezekiel Saw the Wheel, traditional American folk song

I make drawings. I use materials to speak to the immaterial. I am interested in:

touch
pressure
longing
the experience of the passage of time
being a receiver
palliation
holes
rocks
breasts
grasses
clouds
the mutability of light in nature
American roots music

I try to make work that puts you inside your body and outside of it. Like the shock of diving into cold water, or the anticipation of hearing a wind move towards you through the leaves.
